I love Thanksgiving! It really is my favorite holiday. It starts with the big "go out Wednesday Night" around town. Friends usually visit from out of town. In the morning we awake, drink some mimosas, listen to Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant, read the big paper, watch the parade, make dinner if we are hosting, bitch and moan about why we aren't hosting if we are not and then have a big meal and a lot of fun. And we can officially start listening to all that wonderful Christmas music.
Guess what? It's almost here!!!!!!!!

As a Canadian, I've never really understood why Americans go nuts over Thanksgiving, nor do I understand celebrating it in November ;)
